Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt is one of India’s biggest stars. He made his debut in 1981 with Rocky and went on to act in more than a hundred films. His most memorable performances were in movies like Sajan, Naam, Sadak, Khalnayak, Vaastav and more recently, the lovable Munnabhai series.

Sanjay Dutt’s personal life has been turbulent – he lost his mother, Nargis, and his first wife, Richa Sharma to cancer. In the early Nineties he was arrested for the illegal possession of firearms and spent 18 months in jail. But Dutt showed the mettle he was made of – after coming out of jail, his career in tatters, he re-established himself as one of India’s leading male stars.

He recently got married for the third time to an actress, Maanyata. (His second wife, Rhea, was a model). He has a daughter Trishala, who lives in the US.
