Day 4 at IFW began at 2 pm with a show by Aparna Jagdhari, the Delhi based designer who ushered in her collection, which was fun, casual and ready to wear.

Lina Tipnis from Mumbai showcased bright colours and used cool cottons with minimal embroidery. Noteworthy were the ready to wear embroidered pants and tops.

4 pm…
Anjana Bhargav's line comprised earth and fire colours used on georgettes. Satin borders juxtaposed with the fabrics were good, but the colours were repetitive.

Shantanu and Nikhil's men's collection was too loud for my liking.

Muzaffar Ali presented an interesting combination of sequins and chikan work in dark colours. Rekha attended the show.

Tarun Tahiliani: The styling was fabulous. Both the leather belts and the shawls stood out. They were draped like togas from the Roman Empire. Parmeshwar Godrej, Simi Grewal, Suzanne Khan, Karan Johar, Meher Jessia and Kavita Khanna were present on the occasion.

This was followed by the sunsilk hair show. Stylist Neeko walked the ramp with the stunning Meghna Reddy.

Ashish Soni showed his collectio of womenswear and menswear. He has used a lot of blues, blacks and greys. Sabira Merchant, Mukul Dev and Anil Dharker were present.
