Manoviraj Khosla at India Fashion Week

Manoviraj Khosla from Bangalore concentrates more on the style and cut rather than embellishments. The designer who studied fashion at the American College in London, prefers to make clothes that are not very fussy, are easy-to-wear and affordable. And he likes to do so by using the best possible fabrics!

Very pret! And so, very much in sync with the collections meant for India Fashion Week. Yes, Manoviraj is very comfortable presenting his collection for IFW, since his normal work is not much different in spirit.

If the IFW collection is at all different, says the designer, "that's because it is ready-to-wear. Also it is different from anything I have shown earlier, because the styles and the fabrics used are different.''

Manoviraj's collection is aimed at anyone between 17-60 years old. It is a very wearable line of clothes for both men and women, assures the designer. It is also very sporty.

The fabrics used are to a great extent synthetic - including lots of New Age and imported ones. Lycra and stretch dominate. Manoviraj uses a natty colour palette ranging from red, navy, yellow and white in the more sporty clothes to beige, black and mouse in the evening wear range.
