Mr. Rajiv Verma
CEO, HT Media Limited

Mr. Rajiv Verma brings with him over 24 years of cross-sector experience with reputed companies like Hindustan Lever, Nestle and Whirlpool. His international experience spans South East Asia and European geographies, having worked with Whirlpool in Thailand and with Nestle in Philippines and Switzerland.

Mr. Verma is a Mechanical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering. On graduation, he joined Hindustan Lever as a Management Trainee and built his foundation over the next 5 years. He left HLL to join Nestle, where he spent over 12 years growing with the company, handling various portfolios from project management to turning around operations in Philippines. After his long stint with Nestle, Mr. Verma was selected for a critical role within Whirlpool India, as their Head of Operations for the three large manufacturing locations, based out of Delhi. He was instrumental in turning around the operations by deploying various strategic measures like, divestitures, manpower rationalization and business re-engineering.

Of the 7 years he spent at Whirlpool, his last assignment as the MD for Whirlpool, SE Asia, Mr. Verma was responsible for the P&L of the entire region, effectively building the regional strategy and growing the business in SE Asia.

In October 2004, Mr. Verma joined HT Media Ltd. as the CEO and has been providing the necessary leadership and direction required to achieve the company's short term and long term objectives.
