Mr. Matteo Cordero di Montezemolo was born in Torino (Italy) on April 7th 1977. Mr. Montezemolo is the Managing Director of Charme Investments since 2002. The Montezemolo family promotes the European Private Equity Fund of 150 million euro with a few selected partners such as Deutsche Bank, Unicredito Italiano, Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Diego Della Valle (Chairman of Tod’s), Nerio Alessandri (Chairman of Technogym), Seragnoli family. He was Vice-Chairman of Poltrona Frau SpA and a member of the Board of Directors of the Companies acquired by Charme such as Poltrona Frau, Cassina, Cappellini, Gebruder Thonet Vienna, Ballantyne Cashmere.

Mr. Montezemolo was personally assisting the CEO of Investment Banking Division of the London branch of Goldman Sachs International From January 2001 to December 2002. He was also a member of the Investment Banking Team responsible for maintaining and developing investment relationships with a specific focus on European companies in the Consumer industry sector.

He served as a manager in companies that have belonged to the Montezemolo family such as Acqua di Parma, the leading Italian company in the fragrances and luxury industry, sold in July 2003 to Mr Bernard Arnault of LVMH and WEB Sunglasses.

He was a Board Member of a number of company’s such as AC FIORENTINA Spa, Florence Soccer team, FOX AIR Spa, an Aeroplane Charter Company owned by Piaggio Aero Industry and Banca Intermobiliare (BIM), an Italian bank quoted at the Italian Stock Exchange.
