Mr. Tarun Tahililiani is one of India's leading fashion designers and the founder of Tarun Tahiliani Design Studio. His eponymous label is a reflection of his impeccable style and sensibility. Based in New Delhi, his studio produces garments for cities all over the world like New York, Tokyo, Honk Kong, Dubai and for his stores in Mumbai and New Delhi.

Mr. Tahiliani's distribution network and infrastructure puts him high on the list of the most established designers in the country. His talent has enabled him to transform traditional Indian drapes, textiles and techniques into modern technically innovative structured forms that translate into an international contemporary look. His designs are a result of exquisite craftsmanship, exclusive designs and superior quality. His design studio produces prêt wear, bridal trousseaus and exclusive eveningwear for discerning women and men.

Mr. Tarun Tahiliani held his first solo show in September 1994 in London. Since then, he has held numerous shows at home and overseas. In September 2003, he became the first Indian designer to be invited to participate at the Milan Fashion Week. He has held shows in New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Moscow and Karachi.

He has been awarded the Moet and Chandon Fashion Tribute 2004 Award for Designer of the Year for India, and was invited to represent India at Hong Kong in October. He has been awarded the F Award 2004 for Best Women's Designer for Couture. He is an office-bearer and member of the Fashion Design Council of India.

Mr. Tahiliani has a degree in management from the Wharton School of Business and associate degree from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York.
