Mr. Tikka Shatrujit Singh has been actively advising the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy group for the development of its businesses in India for the past 10 years. He has pioneered the entry of Moet Hennessy, LVMH perfumes and cosmetics and the LVMH fashion group into the country.

Presently advising Louis Vuitton in India, Mr. Singh was responsible for Louis Vuitton's first store opening in New Delhi and for the second store opening in Mumbai.

He is considered to be a specialist in the development of "Luxury business" in India and has a tremendous understanding of the potential of India as a "Luxury" destination.

Mr. Singh has been instrumental in lobbying with the Government of India to bring down tariffs (customs duties) on the luxury goods sector and also in allowing "foreign direct investment" in the retail sector.

Not only is Mr. Singh a prominent figure in the luxury goods segment, he is also actively involved in various restoration projects in Punjab and has had other initiatives undertaken for the protection of India's Heritage monuments.

He was awarded "The Order of Mohammed" by King Hasan II of Morocco for developing outstanding relationships - cultural and economic - with the Kingdom of Morocco.

Mr. Tikka Shatrujit Singh was educated at the Doon School and at Delhi University. He has travelled extensively and has represented various International banks in New York, London and Hong Kong before returning to India in the 1990s.
