Today's fast-paced life dictated by rapid
development and urbanisation carries with it the mandate of
doing things in a hurry. This may have bred a culture of impatience
and intolerance. One argues whether progress has led men to
dispose of waste with haste-anytime, anywhere.
In an age of instant coffee, instant photos
and instant orgasms, why not instant urination?
Why this facade of doing the environment good
when most of us don't even bother to turn off the taps, recycle
plastic or conserve forests? In fact, some argue that urine
might actually do barren land good - but that is an entirely
different argument.
Maybe, we should just dismiss this practice
as a culturally unique weakness borne out of sheer laziness,
lack of discipline, irresponsibility and the industrialisation
of society!
