Commander Kawas Rustomji Nanavati was born under the lagna cancer considered to be very powerful. It brings name and fame to the person born under it.

This stands true for Commander Nanavati also. Nanavati was the defence attaché of VK Krishna Menon during Krishna Menon's term as the high commissioner in England. VK Krishna Menon was close to Pandit Nehru. The Governor's order suspending Nanavati's sentence followed from orders higher up. It gives him wisdom but wisdom which is not utilized in positive ways. It leads the individual to act in a socially unethical manner.

When the Jupiter is affected the person tends to cheat on law and justice, misuses his intelligence and hence stands to be reprimanded.

The wise guru in Nanavati's horoscope is affected by the chandal - a highly malignant element. This subsequently results in the misuse of guru or Jupiter which stands for justice.

The horoscope has Mercury in the 10th house together with the Sun. Combined, they make a potent and powerful combination which places the person in a very exalted position in life. Such a person is bound to have dealings with the government.
