Batman
Batman, created by comic book artist and writer Bob Kane is the most famous comic book character to migrate into the movies. The sleek winged hero has replicated his success and popularity with a lot of fanfare at the Box Office also.

Five movies have been made on Batman till now. The sixth and latest will hit the screens in 2005.

Hollywood hunks including George Clooney, Val Kilmer and Michael Keaton have been the Batman's till now.

First Batman
Michael Keaton played the Batman in the first Batman flick.

It grossed a total of $413.2 million dollars at the box office world-wide. Batman became the most successful comic book-inspired film of all time.

Jack Nicholson played the hugely successful role of the Joker, Batman's arch rival.

1992: Batman Returns
Batman Returns was the second in the series in 1992. Keaton again played the super hero.

This time Penguin challenged the Batman.

Batman's another rival, Catwoman added spice in the sequel making the movie a hit at the BO.

1995: Batman Forever - the new look hero
The next in line for the Batman fans was Batman Forever in 1995.

Val Kilmer took over the role of the lead role in this new look, rejuvenated sequel.
His enemies: Two face, Sugar and the Riddler. Drew Barrymore played Sugar and Jim Carrey was the Riddler.
