Though Rana Naved-ul-Hasan made his ODI debut during World Cup in 2003, he had to wait in the sidewalks for much of the year.

Then coming back into the side after almost a year, he had his job cut out.

Apart from a solid first-class record that speaks for itself, there is little known about Naved. He does seem to enjoy his batting, it seems, with a century and no less than seven half-centuries in domestic first-class cricket.

Hasan recently stood out with his remarkable performance during the India's recent tour of Pakistan. His first over went for 24 runs but he replied with three crucial wickets.

He has not had many opportunity to display his talents in the internationals scene.

Strengths: Another relatively unknown factor

Weaknesses: Time will tell
