The family of assistant director Nadia Khan who was killed on the sets of film director Kaizad Gustad's Mumbai Central has decided to appoint a British coroner to monitor the case in India, sources close to the family said on Monday night.

They have also filed a complaint against Ayesha Shroff, wife of Bollywood star Jackie Shroff and the film's financier, to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the Police Commissioner, the sources said.

Meanwhile Linda Perham, MP for Ilford, has sent a letter to British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and Home Minister Shivraj Patil seeking full cooperation and help for the family.
