The Noida authority on Tuesday said it has started training its staff so that they can deliver all property related services online.

The authority said once that is done, the residents need not visit the office for property related services such as mortgage permission, transfer of memorandum, occupancy certificate and building map, among others.

“Currently, a private agency, which has prepared our online software, assists us in processing various applications to deliver online services in various departments. But we do not want to depend on this agency for long. I hope in the next one and half months our staff will be trained and can start working without any help from the agency. Many of our old staff will take a longer time in understanding the technology to deliver online services,” said Deepak Agarwal, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Noida authority.

The authority had in December 2016 started delivery of services for its 16,300 institutional, industrial and commercial in properties Noida.

The CEO said all property documents and certificates issued by the respective authorities could soon be verified digitally. These documents generated online will be supported with a digital signature as well as a unique bar code to make them authentic. Earlier, these certificates were issued manually.

“Allottee or anyone who want to check the authenticity of a document issued online by the two authorities (noida and Greater Noida) will be able to go to the respective website and verify the documents. This facility will be implemented within a week,” Agarwal said.

With the online facility in place, allottees do not have to visit the office to get their work done and will be able to get them done from anywhere. A host of services, including permissions for mortgage, mutation of land, transfer memorandum, completion and functional certificates, lease rent deposit, water bill payments, etc., are available for allottees online. The services can be accessed from Noida’s website, www.noidaauthorityonline.com, and Greater Noida’s website, www.greaternoidaauthorityonline.com.

“Slowly we plan to go fully digital and do away with manual applications and processes besides providing a single window access to information and services. All these online services will also be delivered in Greater Noida,” the CEO said.
