An employee of a real estate company was allegedly abducted and gangraped in a moving car by three men on Tuesday night, the police said.

The incident came to light when the woman called the police from Hapur, where the accused dumped her after the crime.

The police said the woman worked as a sales executive for a real estate firm. She was responsible for sale of residential plots in Salarpur area.

Around 20 days ago, the accused met her at a stall and they exchanged telephone numbers. Then on February 2, the accused called her.

“The woman said two persons, posing as potential customers, called her for an appointment to visit a residential plot. They picked her from the Rajnigandha crossing to go to the location. But instead of going to the plot, they drove towards Hapur and raped her in the moving car. The accused also made a video clip of the act,” said Narendree Saini, in-charge, women police station.

“She said she was abducted from the Rajnigandha crossing around 5pm and dumped near a canal near Hapur around 7.30pm. She said the accused had come in a grey car. We are trying to find out the real names of the accused. They will be arrested soon,” Saini said.

The police said a case of gangrape has been registered against three persons-- Chandrashekhar, Jitender and an unidentified person. The police said the names were given to them by the woman and they need to check if these are the real names of the accused.

“The woman was sent for a medico-legal test, reports of which are awaited. We have the CCTV footage of the route that she claimed the accused took after abducting her,” Saini said.
