other Updated: Jan 04, 2012 00:07 IST

Gaganjeet Bhullar will return to defend his title when the second edition of the Gujarat Kensville Challenge tees off at Ahmedabad's Kensville Golf and Country Club on January 26.

Carrying a prize of euro 200,000 (Rs 1.38 crore approximately), the event will kick off the European Challenge Tour's 2012 calendar and is expected to witness top names like Jyoti Randhawa, Himmat Rai, Anirban Lahiri and Chiragh Kumar.

On the international front, the promising 22-year-old Peter Uihlein of the US, the world's top amateur last year, will be making his pro debut.

Kensville, a Jeev Milkha Singh signature course, will not see the world No 187 in action as he has other professional commitments.
