China's Wei Ning clinched the Asian Games women's skeet shooting title on Tuesday to add to the silver she won in Doha four years ago.
The 28-year-old scored 94 to defeat South Korea's Kim Min-Ji, who finished on 89, while Thailand's Sutiya Jiewchaloemmit, an Asian championship gold medallist, took bronze, a further point back. China also claimed the team gold ahead of South Korea and Thailand.
"I think I should have done better in qualification," said Wei. "In the third series of shooting, if I had not missed some targets, I would have had more of an advantage in the final."
The champion also had words of comfort for her younger sister Wei Ming who finished in seventh place. "She is young and had less experience.
But she will gain experience from playing here," said the gold medallist.
