The organising committee of 2nd World Cup Kabaddi on Sunday temporarily suspended four players who were tested positive for banned drugs by National Anti Doping Agency laboratory.

Disclosing this in Chandigarh on Sunday, Pargat Singh, Organising Secretary of the World Cup Kabaddi, said that out of the 12 samples taken at Faridkot of Pool A teams, four were found positive in A-Test.

He said that out of these four players two were from Australia while one each from Germany and Canada. He said that these players have been temporarily suspended and barred from playing future matches. He reiterated the Organising Committee’s commitment to ensure dope-free World Cup Kabaddi.
