With the effects of the opening day's downpour still being felt, the penultimate day of the Players Championship witnessed yet another unfinished round at the Classic Golf Resort.
Gaurav Ghei, who had a three-stroke cushion as the clubhouse leader on Wednesday, saw the lead whittle down to a stroke as Jyoti Randhawa (66) and Vijay Kumar (67) completed the second round on Thursday to be joint second at nine-under 135. Randhawa's second round was studded with seven birdies and a bogey while Vijay's card included six birdies and a bogey.
Manav Jaini and Om Prakash Chouhan were tied fourth at seven-under 137. Among others, Himmat Singh Rai had played 15 holes while Vijay and Jyoti were through with 12 holes.
