The development of golf in the country is set to get a major boost with the launch of the Indian chapter of the Asian Golf Course Owners Association (AGCOA). Golf course owners in India and Central Asia will now have a platform through the AGCOA, which seeks to provide golf owners with the tools they need to succeed in the competitive golf business. Its ultimate aim is to ensure that golf courses in the continent continue to meet the demands of the golfers across the globe.

The AGCOA in India and Central Asia will be spearheaded by director, Anil Dev, while Col KD Bagga will act as an advisor. The AGCOA plans to have a fully elected board by August-end.
