Beginning from Thursday, the penultimate day of the tournament, the semifinals will have a field dominated by the hosts in both the men’s and women’s individual recurve category.

In men’s recurve, Tarundeep, Rahul Banerjee and Kapil will fight it out with Malaysia’s C Sian Chu for the finals on Friday. Sushma, who had earlier beaten English archer Louise by a set, will meet Deepika Kumari in the first semifinal, while Pranitha and Chekrovolu will fight it out in the second semifinal.

Indian men will take on England in the first semifinal of the team recurve event while Malaysia will be the host’s opponents in the second. In the women’s team recurve category; the Indian team will face Singapore, followed by Wales fighting it out with Malaysia en-route to the finals.
