It’s going to be a thrilling time for adventure enthusiasts in the country. Mountain Dew is bringing ‘Mountain Dew Xtreme Tour’, its internationally successful extreme sport extravaganza, featuring the world’s biggest athletes in skateboarding, BMX, inline skating and freestyle motocross to India for the first time.

Mountain Dew Xtreme Tour will give the action sport enthusiasts a unique opportunity to witness high-adrenaline and breathtaking performances by world class FMX - Freestyle Moto X, BMX - Bicycle Moto X and skateboarding pros. A team of 10 professional extreme sports stars including Skateboarding Pro and 21-time X-Games medalist, Andy MacDonald; star BMX pro, Simon Tabron; and legendary skaters, Eito Yasutoko, Takeshi Yasutoko, Sandro Dias will be present. Other gods of the world of extreme sports who promise to leave people breathless include FMX pros, Jimmie McGuire, Tommy Clowers, Dustin Nowak, Mike Mason and Myles Richmond.

Speaking about the tour, Ruchira Jaitly, executive vice-president - marketing, beverages (flavours), PepsiCo India said, “Adventure, can do attitude and overcoming your worst fears is in the DNA of Mountain Dew. Over the years, we have brought in high adrenaline experiences to our consumers and Mountain Dew Xtreme Tour promises to take it to the next level in 2012. Mountain Dew is bringing world class athletes, a mega set up with sets fabricated by experts and spectacular performances for the first time with this scale in India. We are confident that the first season of Mountain Dew Xtreme Tour in India will be a great success and will only amplify our message of Darr Ko Maaro Dew”.

On being a part of the Mountain Dew Xtreme Tour in India, Skateboarding Pro and 21 time X-Games medalist, Andy MacDonald said, "I've been touring the world on my skateboard for 25 years. India is far and away my favorite place to visit. I'm so happy to be a part of bringing the message of skateboarding to India for the first time in history."
