Ministry to re-draft sports bill
The sports ministry has decided to constitute a 12-member panel to re-drafting the National Sports Development Bill. The sports bill was initially drafted in 2011, to bring about transparency and good governance in the national sports federations.
The sports ministry has decided to constitute a 12-member panel to re-drafting the National Sports Development Bill. The sports bill was initially drafted in 2011, to bring about transparency and good governance in the national sports federations.
But the ministry is of the view that further consultations are required with the stake-holders on the provisions of the bill. The panel under the chairmanship of Justice Mukul Mudgal, would be submitting the draft bill by May 31 and draft rules by August 31.
