Seeded players advance easily
It was an easy day for the seeded players at the AIIF rated open Chess Tournament, which began on Wednesday.
Seeded players moved to the second round of the Regional Sports Centre (RSC) All India International Fide rated open Chess Tournament, which began on Wednesday.
In the first board, top seed IM K Ratnakaran of Southern Railway defeated M Manu (Kerala), while in the second board R R Laxman (TN) beat Teenu Thomas (Kerala). In the sixth board, IM Balasubramanian Ramnathan (TN) defeated C H Meghana (Kerala).
