Dhruv Sitwala’s deft touches and consistent breaks have troubled some of the best in the game. He is the only player to have beaten Pankaj Advani at the World Professional Billiards Association's World Championships in a league game in Leeds.
On Thursday, Sitwala beat Alok Kumar in the knockout stage to book a berth in the semis of the 76th National Championship. Sitwala got the better of Alok with three big breaks of 145, 119 and 99 (151-31, 150-94, 123-150, 150-3, 150-130). Advani, Geet Sethi and Devendra Joshi joined Sitwala in the semis. On Friday, Advani will take on Sitwala.
