The beleagured Tiger Woods is under another unwanted spotlight. Australian Geoff Ogilvy said on Thursday he was amazed US captain Fred Couples ignored PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley and named the former world No. 1 in the President's Cup team.
Ogilvy, a key member of the International team to play the US in the biennial team event at Royal Melbourne next month said: "You can't ever say that picking Tiger Woods is a bad selection, but the way he picked him, announcing it months early, basically telling the guys who are on the fringe of the US team there's really only going to be one pick."
Last week, International captain Greg Norman said he wouldn't have picked Woods and that Bradley would have been a more logical choice. But Couples stood by his selection.
