World champion Viswanthan Anand’s poor run continued as he suffered his second straight loss, succumbing to American Hikaru Nakamura in the sixth round of the Tal memorial chess tournament.
After losing to world No 1 Magnus Carlsen of Norway in the previous round, Anand's loss against Nakamura only added to the woes of the Indian.
The loss proved extremely costly in fact as Anand was pushed to eighth spot in world rankings and was staring at his worst world ranking for almost two decades now.
Chandhok’s lap puts his team in P9 in LMP2
Le Mans: Karun Chandhok helped his team Murphy Prototypes qualify in the ninth place in LMP2 class and 17th overall for the iconic Le Mans 24 hours race, in Le Mans on Thursday.
Chandhok's fastest lap of 3:44.538 was best from his team, which has Brendon Hartley and Mark Patterson as the other two drivers.

New Delhi: After two postponements, the Indian Badminton League (IBL) on Wednesday announced its first franchise, the PVP Group that succesfully bid for the Hyderabad Hotshots.
A Hyderabad-based business house that has interest in realty, media and entertainment, PVP Group makes its debut in sports league and comes with no previous connect with the sport.
