Taking a potshot at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his statement on tacit understanding with the RJD, the Congress on Wednesday said it had slammed the doors for alliance with Lalu Prasad's party "fully and finally".

"The Congress has closed its doors for Lalu Prasad's RJD fully and finally," state Congress spokesperson PC Mishra said in a statement.

Alleging that Kumar was in the habit of making false statements against Congress, Mishra said the chief minister had continuously maintained "tacit understanding" with Lalu Prasad.

Terming Prasad and Kumar as "same faces of same coin", Mishra alleged that both the leaders had fooled people of the state during the past 20 years.

"It is a total political dishonesty on the part of (Nitish) Kumar who continues to target the Centre for not reaching required help (central assistance) to the state of Bihar," he further charged.

"In fact, Kumar is jealous and desperate after seeing the position which Congress has consolidated during all these years in Bihar," Mishra claimed.
