Hailing the decision of the BJP to withdraw support from the JMM-led government in Jharkhand following Chief Minister Shibu Soren voting for the UPA in Lok Sabha, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said JMM's role on the cut-motion was "nothing but political treachery".

"I welcome the decision of the BJP on the matter...In fact it has been left with no other option, but withdrawing from the Shibu Soren government," Kumar told reporters in Patna.

Soren's action to vote against the cut motion on Tuesday "is an act to be treated as political treachery and against the coalition dharma", he said.
