Ruling NDA in Bihar on Friday accused opposition RJD and Congress of conspiring to bring the state under central rule.
"RJD and Congress are conspiring to bring the state under central rule in a bid to indirectly capture power in Bihar," state NDA convenor NK Yadav told reporters in Patna.
Alleging that legislators of the two parties took the two houses of the state legislature to ransom by creating unruly scenes and even throwing slippers at the Chair, he said, "It reflects that the two parties are out to destabilise the state government."
"People of the state have already rejected the two opposition parties and their dream of capturing power will come a cropper as they stand exposed everywhere," he claimed.
State BJP Chief C P Thakur and his JD(U) counterpart Vijay Kumar Choudhary said the acts of the MLAs of the two parties reminded the people of "jungle raj and reign of terror" unleashed by RJD and Congress in Bihar for 15 years.
"People of the state are favourably inclined to ensure victory of NDA for a second term," they added.
