Bihar's main opposition the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Thursday released the list of 65 candidates for two phases of the six-phase assembly polls.
RJD spokesperson Shakil Ahmad Khan said the party has released a list of 31 candidates for the first phase and 34 candidates for the second phase.
Senior RJD leader and parliamentarian Ram Kirpal Yadav said that all sections of society were given adequate representation in the list.
The first phase polls will be held Oct 21 for 47 seats and second round will be held Oct 24 in 45 constituencies.
Bihar will elect a 243-member assembly in staggered polling that begins Oct 21 and ends Nov 20. The results will be declared Nov 24.
