Sonam Kapoor fails to impress at Cannes
Following the tremendous hype about Sonam Kapoor going to Cannes, it certainly is a disappointment to see India's fashionista fair so poorly at the Cannes red carpet. Check out for yourself.
Sonam really missed the fashion bus this time. And what's with the Victorian ruffled collar?
The 26-year-old actor wore a gothic black tulle gown by Alexander McQueen at the closing ceremony of the 65th Cannes International Film Festival and premiere of the film, Therese Desqueyroux.
From lots of sheer black fabric and intricate embroidery on the gown to the heavy makeup, the look didn’t quite work in favour of Sonam, who had rocked the Cannes red carpet last year, in a stunning white Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown.
Sonam's strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress which she wore recently at Cannes is red hot.
While the red velvet voluminous dress with the matching shoes looked good, Sonam's scarlett lips and golden hair accessory looks over-the-top.
Highheelconfidential hit the nail on the head by calling the outfit "tad whimsical but completely girly.”
This is the one look we liked Sonam in. The curled up and voluminous hair with the classy black cocktail dress looks rather good on Sonam.
