What your Fall accessories will look like
Even as you obsessed over the clothes, cuts and drapes at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, we tirelessly pored over thousands of ramp shots to bring you the best accessories you would be coveting the coming Autumn-Winter. So, go enjoy!
Nikhita Tandon - Even though the hat-box bag is not novel when it comes to shapes, Nikhita added her quirky touch with safety pins fawning over the edge. While the trend might not be original, we are glad it's finally seen on the Indian runway.
Sabyasachi- It is the season to stack all accessories in your cupboard, with the oversized bangles, flower head band and twenties style sling bag. Raid your grandma's closet if you must
Rahul Reddy - Eye patches have never been uncool, and so have been people who wear them. We even spotted the-always-individualistic Priya Kishore from Bombay Electric don a glitter one at the Fashion Week. So, when Reddy brought these pirate styled flower babies on the ramp, we could only say Arrrr!
Pero by Aneeth Arora - With leaves, mittens, wool et. al, these over sized bags are bound to silence any big-bag vs small-bag debate for ever. Even though they might be chronic to your shoulder, good for fashion right?
James Ferreira- The fur was faux, Peta! But the neck pieces with the crocheted head gears were very much real and made a fabulously elegant combination, we love and we know we will be seeing them all over the country come Fall.
Rajesh Pratap Singh - No one does Biker chic better, but he knows his bike lady too wants a necklace even if only a twisted, chained and shiny golden one wrapped around the neck.
Rehanne - The turban done the fifties American Housewife style! Channelling your inner Carmen Miranda will never be appropriate, so go ahead and fix for your hair all those fruits you love, just make sure they are fresh!
Tarun Tahiliani - Chinese hat with a matching Obi belt is going to be accessory du jour at all those brunches and races for the coming season, we promise. And it's just one less fascinator to scorn at, right?
Smallshop by JasonAnshu - Orange shoes! What better to pair them up with than orange tights? Absolutely perfect to colour blind one in the winter sun? We kid, though this combination certainly isn't for the faint hearted.
