It was the beginning of a new fashion chapter, dedicated to the grand old Indian wedding and the tradition of the bride’s unmatched trousseau. The beauty of this emotion of couture took over the runway in the Capital as Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers India Couture Week 2014, in association with Logix Group, kicked off at the Taj Mahal hotel on Tuesday.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee, known for bridging the gap between the regalia of yesterday and the restrained glamour of tomorrow, brought a style journey on to the ramp. The stage was transformed into an inside of a train, and as travellers from all class and faith took their seats, the journey to Ferozabad began. The models took over, balancing out the bandhgalas studded with 18 carat gold buttons, with khadi saris and a big helping of delicate tulle.
