The show set in the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey, aired its final season this May, after a successful run of eight seasons (November 2004-May 2012). The show received numerous awards, including five Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, a Peabody Award, and nine People's Choice Awards.
