Mumbaikars who save the city’s stray animals

Updated: Apr 06, 2013 17:04 IST

Abhishek Bhowmick dedicated his life to the welfare of animals. He lives in Goregaon, but wakes up at 5:30am every day, travels to his parents colony in Dombivli and feeds 30 hungry mutts. The moment he steps foot in the society, they all charge towards him. “It’s almost like that cheesy scene from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham when SRK enters the house and Jaya [Bachchan] can feel his presence. My dogs are damn filmi.” (Photo: Rishikesh Choudhary)
