Veteran freedom fighter Bhola Ram died of a massive heart attack at the age of 111 at his residence here on Sunday night.
Ram, who was imprisoned during the country's freedom stuggle, is survived by three sons and two daughters.
He was honoured by the President in 2003 for his contribution to the country's freedom struggle, family members said.
An ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi, he used to regularly celebrate the birthday of the 'Father of the Nation' organising community feasts on the occasion.
Ram's mortal remains were consigned to flames with full state honours on Monday.
