Everyone wants to live longer, but 118-year-old Jaswant Kaur, a resident of Khalaspur village of Bassi Pathana sub-division of Fatehgarh Sahib now wants to die.

Jaswant Kaur is fully satisfied with her life and spends most of her time reciting Gurbani.

Jaswant Kaur, whose parental house was in Rattangarh village, is not the only one who has completed a century, her son, Gurmukh Singh, is 100-year-old. Jaswant's another son had died. Gurmukh is unmarried and lives with her mother. He along with other family member takes good care of Jaswant.

Jaswant, who is living with her fifth generation, has 22 members in the family and most of them are living abroad. Jaswant is really fond of her grandson Jhirmal Singh, who is putting up in Italy and calls her twice a day.

For the past one year, Jaswant has been living on breakfast and a glass of milk in the night. So far, she hasn't had any major health problem and that's the reason she has lived so long. But Gurmukh seems worried now as his mother has facing problem to digest food off late.

Expressing gratitude to the almighty for blessing her with long life, Jaswant said she had made most of her life and had no fears of death now.
