12 students booked for attacking conductor

As many as 12 students and their friends were, on Tuesday, booked by the Cheema police for allegedly beating up a conductor of a private bus.

The complaint was filed by Tarsem Lal, superviser of Ahluwalia Bus Service, who alleged that 12 students and their friends attacked Krishan Lal, conductor of their bus on November 9 near Sheron village, He alleged that they also took away Rs 10,000 and a mobile phone from the conductor.

According to the police, the accused have been booked under sections 382, 506 148, 149 of the IPC and the police have started proceedings to arrest the accused.
