Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has decided to constitute 13 more battalions to further strengthen security apparatus on the international borders.

Inaugurating a new administrative complex for ITBP 43 Battalion in Patiala, ITBP director general Ranjit Sinha said that the force had already started the process to recruit jawans.

Also, in order to give some respite to jawans deployed in remote and sensitive areas, Sinha assured that duties of such personnel would be rotated after every four months so that they could spend some quality time with their family members.

ITBP 43 Battalion commandant Ashok Kumar Negi presented a detailed report regarding the training of new recruits.
