A 17-year-old Raina Nilibar has recently released her maiden electronic book, “Speaking to the stars”, a collection of short stories and poems penned down by her in the past two years.

With roots in Ludhiana, Nilibar is currently in her final year of school at Bangalore. She said it was her voracious passion for reading and writing from the very small age that made it possible.
“Books are my first love. All stories and poems in my book include experiences of my teen age, including drug addiction, peer pressure, friendship, physiological disorders and ragging to name a few,” Nilibar said.

Last year, she also attended a summer writing course for four weeks at Brown University in the United States where she feels she attained a lot of exposure and understood the importance of stepping out of comfort zones to learn more in our passion and life.

Telling her future plans, she said, “I am looking forward to attain a degree in creative writing course and in psychology to fortify my mind and skills to write better.”
