2 arrested for Talwandi Sabo firing incident

The police have arrested two of the accused in the case of killing of two people in firing at Talwandi Sabo near here on Saturday night. Four other accused are still at large.

Station house officer (SHO), Talwandi Sabo, Gursher Singh, said that the arrested accused are Raj Singh and Satinder Singh while the accused, who are still at large, included Manpreet Singh alias Manna, Manpreet Singh, Baldev Singh and Pardeep Singh, while three of the accused are yet to be identified. The accused were nabbed near Jiwan Singh Wala bus stand.

Two people Balbir Singh and Nachhattar Singh had died when the accused allegedly opened fire on them in ward number three when complainant Jasvir Singh, victim Nachhatar Singh and injured Angrej Singh were busy in talking at a roof of their house and the accused opened fire on them. A bullet had also hit Balbir while he was passing through the area.
