2 IPS, 5 PPS officers transferred

The Punjab government on Saturday transferred two IPS and five PPS officers. IPS officer Dilbag Singh has been transferred as AIG, training at Chandigarh, with additional charge of AIG (personnel) and Harjinder Singh has been posted as AIG, Punjab Armed Police (PAP), Jalandhar.

PPS officers transferred include Nirmaljit Singh, who has been posted as assistant commandant, 27th battalion, PAP, Jalandhar, Manmeet Singh as AIG, transport, Chandigarh, Raj Kumar as assistant commandant, 82nd battalion, PAP, Chandigarh, Ashok Puri as additional deputy commissioner of police, Ludhiana, and Gupreet Singh as assistant commandant, 13th battalion, PAP, Chandigarh, with additional charge as SP (administration) at Chandigarh.
