2 kidnapped kids had a miraculous escape

Two school students, who were allegedly kidnapped from Malout in Muktsar, escaped miraculously from kidnappers when the latter reached Abohar and were later handed over to their parents by the railway police here.

According to information, Vasu and Konal Goyal, both aged 12, are students of Class-8 at SD Senior Secondary School her.

On Tuesday afternoon, when they were returning home from school, all of a sudden an Innova car stopped near them and two youths came out of it and put a handkerchief on the face of Kunal, following which he fell unconscious. When Vasu tried to help Kunal, the youths also made him unconscious and dragged both to their car.

Later on, when they regained consciousness, they heard a kidnapper talking the other that they had reached Abohar and stopped the car in the market.

The students hurriedly opened the door of the car and ran away. The kidnappers tried to chase them, but sensing the presence of the crowd, they went back and fled in the car.

Meanwhile, the two kids, in a state of confusion, rushed towards the railway station and sat in an Ambala-bound train, considering it was going to Malout, but when they found that the train was not going there, both came out of the train at the next station.

In the meantime, some employees of the railway police noticed them and the kids narrated them the whole story.

The kids were them taken to the railway police station in Abohar and later on handed over to their parents.
