3,000 to appear for PSEB Class-12 compartment exam

Around 3,000 students will appear for Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class 12 compartment examination to be held in as many as 14 examination centres in the district on July 10. The exam will be conducted from 11am to 2.15pm.

There will be two exam centres at each school. The examination centres are-Government Senior Secondary School, Multipurpose, Ramgarhia Girls Senior Secondary School, Miller Ganj, Government Senior Secondary School for Boys, Jawahar Nagar, Government Senior Secondary School, Bharat Nagar, RS Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, and Government Model Senior Secondary School, PAU, and Ramgarhia Senior Secondary School, Miller Ganj.

Talking to HT, Gurjot Singh, district education officer, secondary, said, “After receiving the orders to conduct the exam on July 10, we started the process of deputing staff on exam duty. For the convenience of students, the education board has also uploaded the roll numbers on its website.”

He added that the exam would be conducted for all subjects and question papers would reach the examination centres between 8am to 10am on the day of the examination.

He added that the district administration had been asked to deploy police personnel on the exam duty.

“The examination centre controllers and superintendents have also been advised to keep a tab on cheating related activities during exams,”he added.
