4 youths on motorcycles killed in Hisar mishap

Four youths were killed when two motorcycles they were riding on were hit by an unidentified vehicle near Gaibipur village in Hisar district, 40 km from here, on Hisar-Chandigarh road late Friday night.

According to police, the victims have been identified as Sonu, Sunder, Rakesh and Baltej, all residents of Gaibipur village, who were in 20-25 year age group.

They were returning from a party organised by Sunder on the birth of his son at a dhaba in the village.

After the party, the four friends were returning to the village on two motorcycles when an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycles at about 10.30 pm. They succumbed to their injuries while being taken to a hospital.

The accused fled the spot with his vehicle after the mishap. A case has been registered against the driver of the unidentified vehicle, the police said.
