44 students of DCM school secure more than 90% marks in Class-12

The students of DCM Senior Secondary School here have proved their mettle once again by producing a stupendous 100% 10+2 result.

Principal Ruchi Sharma said that the students have been performing consistently over the years. Out of 223 students, who appeared in the Punjab School Education Board's examination, 44 students have scored 90% and above marks, thus creating a new record.

She congratulated all the students and further added that with success come great opportunities and challenges and students should face them with the same zeal as they always have.

In the non-medical stream, Master Sanidhya Singal got 96%, Diksha Gupta 95.8% and Palak 95.2%.

In the medical stream, Samarth Gupta got 94%, Richa Gupta 93.8% and Himanshi Sharma 92.6%.

In the recently-held JEE (mains) and PMET examinations, 15 students of the school performed brilliantly. Another feather was added to the cap of the school when Lt Sahil Arora, an alumnus of DCM school, took oath as an officer of the Army at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

The DCM Group of Schools has been awarded the National Education Excellence Award for best chain of schools by Ram Shanker Kathuria, minister of state for human resource and development. Anirudh Gupta, CEO, accepted the award at a glittering ceremony held at New Delhi.
