7 school children injured in Sangrur road mishap

Seven students of Saint Marry's school here suffered minor injuries when their auto-rickshaw was hit by a sports-utility vehicle (SUV) on Friday.

Seven students of Saint Marry's school here suffered minor injuries when their auto-rickshaw was hit by a sports-utility vehicle (SUV) on Friday.

According to available information, the auto-rickshaw was going towards the Police Lines area on the Harheri road near the civil hospital when it was hit by a Mahindra Bolero from the rear side.

All the students, studying in primary classes, were given first aid at the civil hospital and discharged later.The driver fled from the spot of the accident along with the vehicle.

Police registered a case in this connection and investigations were on.
