74 cases disposed off at Lok Adalat

District and Sessions judge-cum-chairman of district law services authority, Ludhiana, Gobinder Singh organised a Mega Lok Adalat at New Court Complex of the district courts on Saturday.


Of the 181 cases that were kept for hearing, 74 cases were disposed off with mutual understanding of both parties.

Gobinder Singh said people should come forward to dispose off their cases in Lok Adalats so that money and time both can be saved.

KK Singla, chief judicial magistrate-cum-secretary District Law Services Authority said once a case is disposed off at a Lok Adalat then no appeal can be made further and brawls are ended forever.
