Almost three months after the gangrape of a minor girl, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded arrest of two absconding suspects in the case.

AAP convener Ahbaab Singh Grewal said the victim's father has been seeking justice for his daughter since.

"The victim and her family were so traumatised by the incident that they were forced to leave their home and now live in a rented accommodation," said Grewal.

Grewal promised to extend all help, even legal assistance, to the victim.

"Two party members from ward no 64, Surinder Vashist and Harcharanjit Singh, are constantly in touch with the family," he said.

On September 4, four men, Sonu and Raja, Sunny and Nindi, has allegedly abducted a 17-year-old girl and taken her to a vacant house in Alamgir village, where she was sexually assaulted. While Sonu and Raja was arrested within a few days of being booked under section 376-D and section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act. Sunny and Nindi are on the run.

Salem Daba police station SHO Jatinder Singh, said the police are currently looking for the two.
