The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took out a 'jhadu yatra' from Gandhi Park at Kotwali Bazar to Martyr Memorial in the Civil Bazar locality here on Saturday.
Party spokesman Raghav Guleria said people from across the district participated in the rally.
AAP leader Prem Sagar, a zila parishad member, said they would work against the "dynastic" rule prevailing in the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
“The rally is a part of the initiative to expose the nefarious designs of the BJP and Congress, which are together looting precious resources,” claimed Sagar.
“Unemployment is the biggest problem being faced by the youths of HP. Semi-literate youths are moving out of the state due to lack of job opportunities,” he added.
AAP leaders claimed that their membership had crossed one lakh in the state, and a large number of ex-servicemen had joined the party in Kangra district.
